After using static websites for many years, I decided that it was time to create a website that was dynamic in nature.  I also was getting tired of all the coding that was required to update my static website and I thought by using a content management system, things would be a lot easier.

Almost a year later, I think I’ve made the right choice.  Sure, they’re been a few bumps along the way, but it is like that with almost any business.  I’m even comfortable enough with it now that I’m going to try to create my own theme and make my own spin on the website script that I love.

Some of you may think that WordPress is not the right choice, but I’ve tried other content management systems over the past year such as Joomla and Drupal, but I found them to be a lot harder to use than WordPress.  I will continue to use this script until my needs change and I continue to recommend it to my clients.
