As a professor of biology, I come in contact with so many different types of people. Biology is a class that is needed for several different degrees and I have the opportunity to meet such a wide variety of personalities. It keeps my job interesting.

I think the students like me as well. I have had many come back to me for advice with their research proposal. I certainly do not mind helping these students who take the time to find me and come and talk to me.

I have one student right now that is already asking me questions for his dissertation and he is just a first year student. He has four years before he has to worry about it.

I know that he is going to have a wonderful thesis when he is done because he cares so much about it already. I can’t wait to read it and I think he may very well be the most brilliant student that I have ever taught.
