It seems that tonight is not my night.  You see, right now, I am working at a convenience store that is open 24 hours.  Now, I don’t mind working nights at all as I am able to get other things done when there are no customers in the store and that is great.

But so far, tonight hasn’t been that good.  You see, the credit card processing machine has been on the blink and I have had a number of customers that have wanted to pay for their gasoline purchases with their credit cards and I had to turn them away.

Also, I have already had one guy run out of here with a stolen bag of chips in his hand.  I was helping another customer at the time and was unable to catch him.

So, I am hoping that the rest of the night goes smoothly, but I am not holding my breath - it looks like it is going to be a nightmare of a night.
