How to create a duplicable marketing system to grow your downline

I have a question for you that youve probably asked yourself over and over again. The question is, why do I keep failing in MLM over and over again? I work hard to promote my business. I work hard when it comes to following up with my prospects as well.

Well, lets examine this situation for a minute. Whos really to blame for the dismal failures youve had? Is it the company you joined? Could it fall onto the shoulders of your upline sponsor? Well, I say no, and in the next several paragraphs, youll see why.

Ive done several different MLM programs over the last 20 plus years and Ive seen the same problems pop up over and over. The problem is simply this; nobody is using a system that produces duplication among their downline.

After 20 plus years of MLM and mail-order experience I have concluded that the main cause for failure in a home business opportunity is simply from a lack of a duplicable marketing system. A system that anyone regardless of experience can use from day one is a form of a duplicable system.

When a new member comes on board, they will get a camera ready master copy to take to their printer. They will have them printed up and all they have to do is slap on a name label and a stamp and put them in the mailbox. This is a system that anyone regardless of experience can do.

To take this system a step further, you could have certain team members that offer to close the sale for the other members. Your team can have a call center where their job is to close your prospects for you. When you have a method that takes the guesswork and confusion out of the hands of new members, then you have a duplicable system.

Your members simply take this to their printer of choice, have their postcards printed in their color of choice. Then they stick on the name labels and some stamps and stick them in the mail. Its as simple as that.

Postcard marketing by comparison is pretty inexpensive. With no flyers to insert into envelopes, there is less work as well. The absolute best benefit that comes with postcards has got to be that they dont need to be opened. Your sales message is there for the whole world to see!

Studies show that a large percentage of mail in envelopes goes into the trash unopened. If you mail letters or flyers in envelopes, your chance of success is greatly reduced. They can be effective, but it takes a mail-order pro to prepare them. You cannot just slap on a label and stamp your return address on them. To do them right requires outside teaser copy, letter folding and more…Why go through this just to have them tossed in the trash?

This can be an effective way to get your sales message out if you are working on a budget. Usually there are only 6 to 7 other mailing pieces, so odds are you will still have a fair amount of people looking at your opportunity.

It can be expensive and hard to do if done the wrong way. First, it requires people to have a lot of experience to just navigate around on their computers. Many aging baby boomers reject learning this new fangled technology so youre missing out on a large portion of your target market.

So to wrap this up, if youre intimidated by the Internet or you just dont want to take the time to figure out how to advertise that way, then by all means look into postcards. They have worked for years and still continue to be very effective today.
