It’s totally true that blogging can be a blast, but there also a few issues that bloggers have to deal with. The key is to keep yourself aware of them. This way you’ll know how to fight the issues. As a result, you’ll become a superstar blogger, with much more to show for your efforts.
The three problems most bloggers deal with include:
Too much time in front of the computer, repetition of other’s work, no focus.
Let’s tackle these one-by-one!
Number one is the burnout issue. Then you got going, you were probably very excited to start blogging. You were set in your mind that you were going to blog hard! You also likely thought that the payback was going to be quick. However, it soon became clear that you were going to be talking about the same topic repeatedly, which can get tedious. You also realized that this is going to take time to get rolling.
It’s fine to feel frustrated! You should know, however, that these feelings are what can make or break you as a blogger. If you give up, you’ll never know what it’s like to be a successful blogger pulling in great money. If you persevere past this frustration you can be extremely successful! The majority of bloggers give up, so make sure that doesn’t happen to you.
The next most common problem is sameness. This simply refers to the fact that it can be hard for bloggers to find their exact “niche.” Sure, you know what your blog will be about — you might even have it very targeted. That doesn’t mean your blog will stand out from the crowd!
So that you can get a strong fan base, you must do something that will put you ahead of others. You could run give-aways, write in a unique “tone” that includes a sense of humor or other kinds good penmanship, or just do something that is crazy and totally different – usually this endears many readers.
Finally, the last problem many bloggers face is the lack of focus. We’ve already discussed that it’s hard to stay motivated past the early stages, and this problem often leads to a lack of focus. You started out writing a blog about weddings, but you quickly got disenchanted and start blogging on a different site about sports instead.
This just comes back to you need to keep going. Just realize that even if you can’t put your heart into this topic – jumping around from one subject to another one is only going to slow you down from reaching your objective.
There are, of course, other problems that bloggers face as well. The difference between those who do well and those who give up is their determination. If you are determined to earn enough income to replace your job, for example, you’re going to need to know that these problems are there and come up with a battle plan to banish them forever.
Don’t forget, blogging is great, but you’ll need a strong mentality to make it work for you.
