Several people out there want to know what food football players eat to remain fit. All the fancy and posh tableware they have in their kitchen never actually comes in use or do they, I am sure from the money they earn they can afford to have a butler to do their cooking? They do earn a lot of money. There are some footballers who like to cook for themselves but what do the once do who have no clue how to make any types of food?
Every single football player has to eat healthy food to stay fit. After a heavy workout in the field their body will need refuelling. Al parts of body will require food after hard football training. To heal micro tears from execise the body needs combination of vitamins, proteins, minerals and fat.
A lot of football players drink protein shake, eat white meat and seafood (which provides protein) after their training in the field or at the gym. Seafood like salmon and tuna is good for repairing tendons, ligaments and bones. They also provide protein. It also rebuilds muscles after a run. White meat is normally recommended to eat than red meat as it provides more protein to the body.
Nutritionists advise footballers to have some carbohydrates too along with protein, as just protein is not good for the body. Body requires carbohydrates and some fat. Not too much though some roasted peanuts during the afternoon will do you good.
To be perfectly honest footballers can afford to eat out every day and they can choose healthy diet and don’t have to worry about cooking it. Most of them have strict diet plan to eat the same food or similar type of food during evening, afternoon and morning. Football players such as David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Robbie Fowler love cooking and have their own diet. They all have huge kitchens in their properties and all sorts of kitchen accessories needed for cooking.
Football players are not allowed to drink too much beer so they probably don’t have beer glasses at their homes.
