I had just finished packing my bags to go on a two-week vacation when I remembered that rather than just leaving my house walking distance towards the beach, I was also leaving my favorite foods! How I would be able to go without South Florida dining for so long was pretty hard to accept, so I decided to go out for one last meal before I left. I knew that on my return I would be doing the same exact thing. I decided to go for something new in honor of the occasion, and I ordered the popular new vegetarian Mexican taco. I knew I was in for a treat, as is always the case in a South Florida establishment, but I did not know that I would be this pleased! What an incredible symbol of both my reluctance in leaving my favorite city, and the excitement of going somewhere new. One thing was for sure, there would not be any tacos that tasted this good where I was going.
One of the most commendable things about Florida tacos is their variety and options. All of the options are so unique and tasteful, it’s hard to pick just a select few. I mean, after just one visit, you’ll be itching to go back and try different styles. And believe you me, there is no end to the number of styles of tacos you can have in South Florida. They are so delicious in their own ways, and each consists such unbelievable ingredients that it is always a pleasure to eat at any South Florida establishment.
Regardless of your eating choices, you’ll need to get some sort of protein. Luckily protein comes in all sorts of different foods, including beans! South Florida’s beans are really some of the greatest, you’ve got to try them. The black beans that I dined on were extravagant and like none I’ve ever tasted before. And as if it couldn’t get any better, I was introduced to a rare black bean hummus! The soft texture did everything to up the taste value on the incredible mexican taco.
Next up is the different variations of freshly made meat. But don’t leave sight of beans too soon, there are also black beans mixed with bacon! Your other choices of meat include chicken, chicken breast, steak, and pork. The steak is organic, which can be appreciated by many in South Florida who are looking to eat healthier. Organic meats don’t contain nearly as many fatty substances! South Florida restaurants just do not slack in any department!
Then, your three warm, soft shell tortillas will move on to the next section, which includes veggies and sauces among a variety of other delicious ingredients. I know I brag about South Florida’s variety, but this is where it really starts to get out of hand! So many infallible ingredients, I am so excited to live in a city where this is possible! So you’ll want to definitely add sour cream. Sour cream gives the mexican taco a special texture and taste, and if you’re a fan of sour cream then you will be very happy with South Florida’s delicious take on the ingredient!
Right after the sour cream, you should take your choice of cheeses. There are so many choices, and for me it was hard to decide. I ended up going with the cheddar, and this is what was actually recommended on the mexican taco. I was completely astonished with why I had stood so long trying to decide what kind of cheese I wanted! Of course it was cheddar; the sharpness was so great in the midst of the mexican taco.
After your dairy selection, you’ll want to move on to some greens. There’s lettuce, which is an excellent starter point for the mexican taco. The crisp, crunchy, and light texture of South Florida’s fresh lettuce bring such a cool feel to the mexican taco. I mean, what a refreshing take on taco dishes!
As you arrive to the end of your mexican taco journey, you need to signature your taco with one of South Florida’s freshly made sauces. Among so many, the one recommended for the mexican taco is mild or hot salsa. The fact that these options are available is incredible, seeing as how I don’t know how spicy I will want a particular entree. This time I went with hot, and I was quite impressed.
Essentially, the mexican taco is easily my new favorite item on South Florida’s menu. It’s really due to their incredible technique in making their vegetarian wrap ingredients. It’s near impossible for any other city to match the prestige of South Florida restaurants!
