So, He says I am doing a upper strength program. I am doing this program to get fast, strong and powerful. I am like, really? So what are they doing over there? You think, they are training to become slow and you know big muscular body builders, not at all. So I asked him what, this is the program that is you are doing for yourself? Are you a professional strength conditioning coaches? This is the way you do it for your leaving? And he said, no no no I got it from the internet just for your search for speed training program and this is what I came across. So I started laughing and I told him listen, there is a reason that our program is put together and executed in this fashion, right? And I am just taking one example of the concept of specificity.

So he thinks I am doing seated leg press, he is going to get strong legs that are going to get transfer to him to run faster, jump higher and it doesn’t. And you get stronger by what you are doing in it.
So whether you are training for sport or whether you are doing it to burn fat, a lot of time the training which you are going to do is kind a equivalent.
