Internet has opened up many opportunities to earn money through blogging and websites. Blogging is indeed fun especially if you blog about something of your interest. There are many niches you can blog about such as blogging itself, hobbies and technology. The only question you should ask yourself is what you want to blog about.
If your main reason for starting a blog is to earn money, you will need to learn how to increase your blog ranking. Blog ranking has effect on whether you can earn money from your blog or not. To put it in a simple explanation, the more visitors to your blog, the more you can earn from your blog.
This is why you need SEO or Search Engine Optimization. Search Engine Optimization is to make your blog appear on the first page of the Google search result for a specific keyword. For example, if you have a blog about making money online and you want your blog to appear at the top page of the search results when someone search for ‘make money online’ learn how to use the keyword effectively in your blog.
There are many ways to implement SEO in blogs. Using keywords would be one of the ways to increase your blog ranking in the specific keyword. Blog commenting is also a popular way to promote your blog in the blogosphere.
Social networking is another way to promote your blog. With sites like Facebook, Twitter and Blogcatalog, you have many ways to connect with bloggers and promote each other’s blogs. This is also a great way to expand your network, meet more people and gain more experience in blogging.
Of course, some people blog just for fun and from fun itself, they can get many visitors until one day they are earning from their own blog as well. If blogging is such as fun and full of surprises, why not start a blog today? You can try Blogger if you are new to blogging as it is easier to manage but Wordpress is also another favourite.
With all of the websites available, it can be a daunting task to find the sites which appeal to you the most. After all, every site wants to be your favourite, but most fall far short of the needs of the users. So when I found this site that specializes in website reviews, I knew that my searching had just gotten a lot easier.
With the nearly overwhelming amount of information available, it can be hard to find the sites that are just what you want to see. Do you want to meet other people, or maybe just talk about your favourite bands? Whatever it is you are interested in, there is almost certainly a site that is perfect for you.
It may be that you are looking for a site that is dedicated to your community. From continents to villages, there are websites that cater to many specific locales. Even within those geographic areas, the possibilities are amazingly varied, so being able to read through reviews of different sites can be vital to finding exactly what you are looking for.
From the world famous to the community artist, music has found new avenues to reach an eager audience. Online shops offer everything from furniture to– well, to just about anything you might be interested in. The trick lies in using a site that provides helpful and interesting reviews, so you’ll know where to go, and what to expect when you’ve decided that is the website for you.
There are some great reviews of online shops, as well. But not in a way that’s pushing them on you, but giving lots of useful information about what they offer, so you’ll have an idea of whether its the spot for you, or not. But there’s also reviews for some of the most popular news and information websites on the internet, so don’t think this is all about sales, because the reviews are all objective and helpful.
I liked that there was a clear image of each site that was reviewed, and the description offered for it was accuate and concise. When I decided to browse an online furniture shop, I matched the description I had been given exactly, almost as though I had already been there before. Reviews of that quality are hard to beat!
This review site has something for everyone, from video games to household goods, current news and events to the largest information database in the world. It only took me a few minutes to realize this was a site I would be visiting again. It has so much information about so many things, I simply couldn’t soak it all up at once. In fact, I’m still checking back in for more.
It isn’t always easy to find a great website, and when you can get a helping hand along the way, it is a good idea to take it. Make use of a website review site, like the one I’ve been going on about, and look through some of the sites that are offered and reviewed. It’s a great way to find new websites, and very interesting to read the reviews.
The term blog is just an abbreviation for the word “weblog”. Originally blogs were online diaries however these days they have transformed into fully fledged content management systems that many different types of sites can use.
Even very extensive, well-known web sites — web sites that you wouldn’t expect to be using free software — actually use Wordpress and/or other blogging platforms for their content management. Indeed, blogging solutions have become very popular these days.
Blogs have many benefits such as inbuilt RSS feeds that can alert people and websites when your blog has been updated with a new post.
One excellent advantage is that you don’t have to know HTML, web design or programming to be able to publish a website blog, since the content management system simplifies it for you.
You simply log in to your admin panel and then post a new article. You can also configure the look of your site, manage plugins (extra pieces of software that add functionality to your blog) and many other tasks.
Most people who are making money blogging are simply publishing articles, reviews, previews, ideas and advice about a topic that interests them.
Monetize a blog using affiliate links and banners, Adsense ads, by selling banner slots, by selling your own product, and by a host of other methods. Actually the different ways to earn money from a blog are endless.
The software that is used by the great majority of people for blogging is Wordpress. This free script can be downloaded from wordpress.org and then uploaded to your web host. A one click interface is available through various web hosts permitting the installation of Wordpress in a matter of seconds.
A fantastic feature of Wordpress is that the readers can post comments regarding your blog posts. This way, all of your articles are kept active in the search engine, which contributes to increased interest and keeps people coming back to your site time and time again.
Blog comments are a good way to reach out to your readers — do reply to the comments so that your readers know your care.
So now that you know what are blogs you can get started creating your very own niche blogging empire!
Article marketing is an explosive way to start your busines. Articles can go viral fast and therefore have your information all over the Internet.
For one thing, web owners constantly look for good content for their sites and the other thing is that search engines love the information provided by article marketing.
Start a busines without article marketing and you just might be making a mistake. Most everyone can fill the criteria required for article marketing. You need the article itself (of course), a way to create traffic, a way to build your customers and lastly you need to be in a position to turn your visitors into money.
There aren’t many marketing methods that solve most of the things required for you to start a busines that is successful online like article marketing.
Article marketing is a quick marketing method that can be very explosive and one that you can easily start your busines with. It doesn’t take rocket science to write an article. If you are not comfortable with it, all you have to do is go to Go Articles and type in the keyword phrase that you want to write an article about and take notes. Then you simply rewrite the article so that it is now an original article. Never use someone else’s article exactly as you see it, that is plagiarism and you can get in trouble for doing that.
Fresh content is the holy grail online and one of the main reasons you can start a busines that has the makings of being successful off the bat. The reason for this is that you help solve two problems you educate people while filling the content requirements for others.
By creating one article a day per website, you start busines growth for each domain you own. When you start busines growth it is important to be consistent and write every single day. Each day becomes a building block similar to a foundation. The content that you will be creating for submission to article directories can also be added to your website/s.
It is very important that when you start busines growth to be on the ball and write at a minimum, one article per day. As each day passes, the foundation of your business will build as steady as a brick wall. And be sure to add your content that you submit to the article directories to your website.
When you create content daily the search engines will favor you. As long as you perform proper keyword research, you will get great rankings on the search engines. Your keyword or keyword phrase is the most important aspect of article marketing. Your keyword should not be spammed all over your article. Keyword density is what they call the number of times your keyword or phrase appears in your article. The density should not be more than 1.5% of your total word count. In this article my keyword phrase is start busines and yes busines is spelled incorrectly on purpose. You can rank your article for misspelled keywords as well as normal keywords. Just be sure that you use the Google Traffic Estimator to make sure there is enough traffic to make it worth your time.
Article City, Ezine Articles, and Go Articles are three of the biggest article directories. But don’t waste your time submitting your articles directly to directories unless you don’t have any money to grow your business. If you can afford it, go to Isnare and submit your articles there. Isnare is an article directory submission software program that will send your articles to 100’s of places that have high page ranks meaning you will get more bang for your buck.
When it comes to making an incredible living online, article marketing is just the tip of the iceberg. If you truly want to live the life of your dreams…
After many months of talking to new internet marketers and aspiring network marketing entrepreneurs I have come to one forgone conclusion, no one takes the time to make a plan. Imagine that, going into the battle of business with no plan of action and no firm commitments to speak of. If you start you home business, like the majority do, on a wing and a prayer I will guarantee you will find yourself a casualty like more than 95% who fail in home business today.
The importance of having a plan can not be overemphasized. Many don’t have a plan because they go into the business believing that their upline or sponsor will give them the direction they need to be successful. Others simply have no idea that a real business and marketing plan is needed to have success.
In many cases, I’ve asked individuals if they have a plan of action and they quickly respond, “Oh yeah, I’ve got a plan of action!” Then I ask them to produce it for me. I tell them that I’d like to take a look at it and more often than not they tell me that it’s in their head. Well here is what I’ll say to that, If your plan is in your head, then more than likely your success will be in your head too!
This may seem a bit extreme but the truth is the truth and unfortunately it hurts sometimes. Most will never make the long term commitment to a plan and that’s why they will never get beyond a certain level.
Think of it this way, let’s say a football team went into a game with no set plays or strategy to take on their competition. They hadn’t watched any footage of the other teams strengths or weaknesses and were just flying by the seat of their pants on every play. How do you think they would do during the season with that approach?
That’s right, they’d have a terrible season and it wouldn’t be any one’s fault but their own. This is what I see going on with Network Marketers starting home businesses without a game plan.
I have realized at this point that most home business start-ups are comprised of some type of quick-start training and immediately followed by marketing efforts. In essence, it’s as if they got trained what to do but never prepared a game plan on how to implement what they’d learned so they wallow around trying different things they learned hoping that something works.
We all know that doesn’t work in any business or endeavor and that proper planning produces peak performance, right?
So, that said, here is what I suggest you do first. Get out a piece of paper and write down your five year, one year, six month, 3 month and one month goals. Then start with your one month goal and determine what it’s going to take every day for you to reach that goal. Once you’ve written these steps, stick to them, never quit and watch your business grow.
Due to the limits of this article it is virtually impossible for me to go over everything in detail but it starts with transferring your thoughts to paper. If you’d like to check out my site I can share more with you and even unveil my proven formula for Network Marketing success.

In every bloggers life comes a special day - the day they first launch a new blog. Now unless you went out and purchased someone else’’s blog chances are your blog launched with only one very loyal reader - you. Maybe a few days later you received a few hits when you told your sister, father, girlfriend and best friend about your new blog but that’’s about as far you went when it comes to finding readers. Here are the top 10 techniques new bloggers can use to find readers.
These are tips specifically for new bloggers, those people who have next-to-no audience at the moment and want to get the ball rolling.
It helps if you work on this list from top to bottom as each technique builds on the previous step to help you create momentum. Eventually once you establish enough momentum you gain what is called “traction”, which is a large enough audience base (about 500 readers a day is good) that you no longer have to work too hard on finding new readers. Instead your current loyal readers do the work for you through word of mouth.Top 10 Tips
10. Write at least five major “pillar” articles. A pillar article is usually a tutorial style article aimed to teach your audience something. Generally they are longer than 500 words and have lots of very practical tips or advice. This article you are currently reading could be considered a pillar article since it is very practical and a good “how-to” lesson. This style of article has long term appeal, stays current (it isn”t news or time dependent) and offers real value and insight. The more pillars you have on your blog the better.
9. Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.
You don”t have to produce one post per day all the time but it is important you do when your blog is brand new. Once you get traction you still need to keep the fresh content coming but your loyal audience will be more forgiving if you slow down to a few per week instead. The first few months are critical so the more content you can produce at this time the better.
8. Use a proper domain name. If you are serious about blogging be serious about what you call your blog. In order for people to easily spread the word about your blog you need an easily rememberable domain name. People often talk about blogs they like when they are speaking to friends in the real world (that’’s the offline world, you remember that place right?) so you need to make it easy for them to spread the word and pass on your URL. Try and get a .com if you can and focus on small easy to remember domains rather than worry about having the correct keywords (of course if you can get great keywords and easy to remember then you”ve done a good job!).
7. Start commenting on other blogs. Once you have your pillar articles and your daily fresh smaller articles your blog is ready to be exposed to the world. One of the best ways to find the right type of reader for your blog is to comment on other people’’s blogs. You should aim to comment on blogs focused on a similar niche topic to yours since the readers there will be more likely to be interested in your blog.
Most blog commenting systems allow you to have your name/title linked to your blog when you leave a comment. This is how people find your blog. If you are a prolific commentor and always have something valuable to say then people will be interested to read more of your work and hence click through to visit your blog.
6. Trackback and link to other blogs in your blog posts. A trackback is sort of like a blog conversation. When you write a new article to your blog and it links or references another blogger’’s article you can do a trackback to their entry. What this does is leave a truncated summary of your blog post on their blog entry - it’’s sort of like your blog telling someone else’’s blog that you wrote an article mentioning them. Trackbacks often appear like comments.
This is a good technique because like leaving comments a trackback leaves a link from another blog back to yours for readers to follow, but it also does something very important - it gets the attention of another blogger. The other blogger will come and read your post eager to see what you wrote about them. They may then become a loyal reader of yours or at least monitor you and if you are lucky some time down the road they may do a post linking to your blog bringing in more new readers.
5. Encourage comments on your own blog. One of the most powerful ways to convince someone to become a loyal reader is to show there are other loyal readers already following your work. If they see people commenting on your blog then they infer that your content must be good since you have readers so they should stick around and see what all the fuss is about. To encourage comments you can simply pose a question in a blog post. Be sure to always respond to comments as well so you can keep the conversation going.
4. Submit your latest pillar article to a blog carnival. A blog carnival is a post in a blog that summarizes a collection of articles from many different blogs on a specific topic. The idea is to collect some of the best content on a topic in a given week. Often many other blogs link back to a carnival host and as such the people that have articles featured in the carnival enjoy a spike in new readers.
To find the right blog carnival for your blog, do a search at http://blogcarnival.com/.
3. Submit your blog to blogtopsites.com. To be honest this tip is not going to bring in a flood of new readers but it’’s so easy to do and only takes five minutes so it’’s worth the effort. Go to Blog Top Sites, find the appropriate category for your blog and submit it. You have to copy and paste a couple of lines of code on to your blog so you can rank and then sit back and watch the traffic come in. You will probably only get 1-10 incoming readers per day with this technique but over time it can build up as you climb the rankings. It all helps!
2. Submit your articles to EzineArticles.com. This is another tip that doesn”t bring in hundreds of new visitors immediately (although it can if you keep doing it) but it’’s worthwhile because you simply leverage what you already have - your pillar articles. Once a week or so take one of your pillar articles and submit it to Ezine Articles. Your article then becomes available to other people who can republish your article on their website or in their newsletter.
How you benefit is through what is called your “Resource Box”. You create your own resource box which is like a signature file where you include one to two sentences and link back to your website (or blog in this case). Anyone who publishes your article has to include your resource box so you get incoming links. If someone with a large newsletter publishes your article you can get a lot of new readers at once.
1. Write more pillar articles. Everything you do above will help you to find blog readers however all of the techniques I”ve listed only work when you have strong pillars in place. Without them if you do everything above you may bring in readers but they won”t stay or bother to come back. Aim for one solid pillar article per week and by the end of the year you will have a database of over 50 fantastic feature articles that will work hard for you to bring in more and more readers.

When you’re the one who receives the cold call, what is the sales person doing to create success?
Introduction You’re deep into your work and the phone rings. Someone wants to sell you something. You think to yourself, ‘Another sales person? Talking to this person is the last thing I want to do right now,’ and you begin to hang up.
Analysis: Less than 25% - and more like 10% - of cold calls reach the decision maker on a single try. Equally importantly, recipients never expect a cold call and want to end the call almost immediately.
It is critical that the sales person be respectful and quickly present a compelling statement about why they are calling, without being too eager.
Conversation The sales person starts talking about something you’ve already been thinking about, or something you might actually want to learn more about.
Analysis: About 20% of decision makers will have an interest in continuing a conversation. The best prospects are familiar with the product or service and already want to buy it. But, a good caller can also pique the interest of those who ‘might’ have a need.
An overly-persistent caller will annoy those with no interest, denigrate the brand, and waste time.
Conversation, continued While you’re interested, this is just not the right time. Besides, you need some proof the company is legitimate before you agree to meet. You ask for more information.
Analysis: About 90% of decision makers who ask for more information simply want to get off the phone. A good sales person can tell when the decision maker might have true interest. Otherwise, sending more information is a waste of time and money.
Conversation, continued You and the sales person talk a bit about your needs. The sales person learns that you are involved in the decision making process.
Analysis: Yes, all good sales people ask for the appointment first. No experienced cold caller resorts immediately to ’sending more information.’ However, despite what some sales courses say, often a decision maker requires documentation before agreeing to a meeting.
The sales person always tries to send information directly to the decision maker and not to an assistant or secretary. (Sometimes the gatekeeper is the only way in the door, however.)
Email This sales person sends you a professional email, from an account that is not Yahoo or Hotmail and attaches a professionally created PDF. A website address is included.
Analysis: A generic email address is an automatic red flag. Companies who do not have web sites, likewise, reduce their credibility.
Conversation, continued The sales person calls you back, at the agreed upon time. This time, you pick up the phone and are ready to talk. The sales person references prior notes, showing they remember you.
Analysis: Who knows? You might become a client.
What went right?
1) Got quickly to the point, so you didn’t hang up first. 2) Asked questions to confirm that you were truly interested. 3) Confirmed that you had decision making authority. 4) Set a specific time to call you back. 5) Acted respectfully and professionally.
Internet network marketing is a beast that only a few have tamed but has slain thousands with dashed hopes and forgotten dreams. There have been many that have tested these waters only to find that they are both cold and deep. I know your pain if you have felt the effects of failed attempts at getting your business up and running so I’ll share what I know the “Guru’s” won’t dare tell you.
First, here’s my little disclaimer. I’m not going to share anything that you don’t already know but I suggest you stick with me hear because you may just have the Aha! moment you’re looking for.
Secondly, I want you to keep an open mind here because it’s only with that perspective and attitude that you can really get the most out of what I’m going to share with you. There is no magic bullet to internet network marketing and the top dogs peddling info products would kill me for sharing this.
In my opinion, these are the foundational building blocks to any successful business model, even internet network marketing. So here we go my friend!
1. First and foremost, you must realize that everything out there works on some level or another or it wouldn’t be in the marketplace, period! Your ultimate goal is to find something that resonates with you and put your head down and elbows up and get to work. Work it until you master it and you’ll be in profits before you know it!
2. All the hyped up testimonials you see on the internet are the exception and not the rule. You aren’t the only one that hasn’t reached a high level of success in internet network marketing. Start where you are and take a step every day, one foot in front of the other and you’ll get there.
3. Don’t try to do it alone. Find a mentor that you can relate to but doesn’t allow you to make excuses for mediocrity. This is really the job of a coach to help you grow and develop. You should also be involved in mastermind groups and communities related to your field as no one person can do it alone. Get connected!
Alright, let’s go over these again in basic layman’s terms:
1. Hard, focused work (this is where you get traction in your business)
2. Consistency (I mean like everyday, hello!)
3. Mentoring And Community (it’s all about people and personal development)
Like I said before, I knew before you read this you’d probably think to yourself, “Kylon, I already knew that and now I’ve just wasted three and a half minutes of my life reading this article!”
Then again, dig deep and ask yourself the question? Am I doing everything in the manner above to have success or am I just hoping it will happen all of a sudden out of the blue. Hard work produces its own fuel and synergy for internet network marketing growth.
See most people want to multi-task, not focus, work smart, not hard and do it on their own instead of working together. The gurus promote instant cash and walk away riches but very rarely, if ever, promote the basic concept of hard work. Why, because hard work doesn’t sell.
So, now that we’ve got that little obstacle clearly defined, if you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and have a major breakthrough in your business, focus on these three areas and the rest will follow. Check out my site for more details on the How-To’s when it comes to internet network marketing. All the best and keep reaching for the stars!
